Open Saved Locations first if you already know where you are going.
Search for a saved place, browse by group, or add a new location if it is not in the list yet.
Use the dashboard as the active trip screen.
Start tracking from the dashboard. While the trip is active, RouteLocker shows current speed, distance, elapsed time, average speed, and max speed.
Use the trip logger after the trip is complete.
Open the trip logger to review the trip summary, search the history, or correct an entry if needed.
Use trip notes for details you want to keep with the record.
Notes are useful for reminders, service details, addresses, or other written context that does not fit in the basic trip fields.
Look at backup status before changing devices or doing large edits.
If the app shows saved locations added after the last backup, create a fresh backup before moving or restoring data.
Import-and-merge and full restore are not the same action.
Use merge when you want to combine saved locations. Use full restore only when you want to replace the current saved location set.
